The Dalai Lama is a very joyous man. If you've ever seen him with Desmond Tutu, you know what I mean. It seems every time these two see each other, they are killing themselves (or each other) laughing.
He is also a very wise man.
Among a list of 18 Rules for Living (highly recommended reading) on how to live a good life, one says "As often as possible, go somewhere where you have never been before". Never has a German become a follower of the Dalai Lama faster than yours truly after reading that !!!
Another Rule: Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
1) This passport picture was taken today to follow the first Rule. Why do my passport pictures always look like I am the type of person who ignores all rules and regulations?
2) I think it's almost time to wear high collars like Karl Lagerfeld ;-(
